Huon Show has a record Year -

The Huon Show has reported record attendance this year. The Huon Show is an annual agricultural and community event held in Huonville, a town located in the Huon Valley of Tasmania, Australia. It celebrates the region's farming, horticultural, and rural lifestyle, showcasing the local agricultural products, such as apples (the Huon Valley is famous for its apple orchards), as well as other produce like berries, vegetables, and flowers.

The show typically features a variety of activities, including:

  • Agricultural competitions: Livestock shows (cattle, sheep, horses), dog trials, and other farming-related contests.
  • Horticultural displays: A chance for locals to show off their best produce and flowers.
  • Rides and amusements: Like any country fair, there are carnival rides, games, and entertainment for families.
  • Local arts and crafts: Exhibitions of local artisans' work, from woodwork to textiles.
  • Live music and entertainment: Local bands and performers often provide entertainment.
  • Food stalls and vendors: Featuring local produce, specialty foods, and drinks.

It’s a great event for both locals and visitors to experience the culture and traditions of the Huon Valley, while also enjoying a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. The Huon Show typically takes place in the spring or early summer (around November), and it's one of the highlights of the region's social calendar.  So book your accommodation at Riverfront estate for 2025, you can walk or ride our bikes to the show.
